New Podcast Episode | Warfare in the Wounds: Healing Trauma and Spiritual Battles

To be clear: experiencing trauma does not mean you’re dealing with demons. However, because trauma is often surrounded by deep darkness, it can become a battleground for spiritual warfare. The enemy loves to exploit our darkest moments to distort our identity and diminish our self-worth. In this episode, we carefully explore our personal encounters with trauma (in a way that aims not to be triggering), share how we’ve found healing, and discuss how we’ve witnessed the Holy Spirit’s work in exorcism cases connected to trauma. We also tackle the tough question, ‘Where was God in my trauma?’ by recounting a profound spiritual experience from one of our sessions. Jamin, Amity, and Tasha are joined by their friend Jaimie and special guest Aimee, who is a trauma recovery coach. (Note: In the second half of this episode, an uninvited cricket makes a rather noisy appearance. The audio may shift slightly as we tried to keep him at bay.)
