I was scrolling through Facebook when I came across a ridiculous AI video a Christian shared. The first clip was of demons boiling a child alive as he screamed. The second clip was of Jesus tying parents up for misleading their kids and beating them with a broom or something. After several horrifying AI clips of demons freaking kids out, the video ended with a “leave an amen in the comments and you’ll be blessed by the Lord in the next 3 days.”
It’s sad that Christians fall for these algorithmic ruses while they share their terrifying, hellish gospels. It’s sad that they think they can turn Jesus’ blessing into some kind of magic trick, which sounds like the very kind of witchcraft they’re speaking against.
Videos like this feel like a demonic spin on the gospel. It is not good news at all. It is downright horrifying. In fact, I have actually had to lead people through deliverance of fear demons after they encountered these kinds of messages from the church!
Our presentations of the gospel matter. Make sure the one you are preaching aligns with the Spirit of God, lest you ground people in a spirit of fear instead of the spirit of Jesus.
